This desert contemporary design is anchored by a raised, stacked stone pool wall that transforms the backyard's natural grade into a dramatic focal point. Native desert plantings, decomposed granite, and sculptural agave and yucca keep the landscape low water and low maintenance while framing unobstructed mountain views. The elevated pool edge doubles as a sitting wall, blurring the line between hardscape and seating. Clean architectural lines throughout let the surrounding desert landscape remain the star of the design.
